Field Construction of Wire Signal Reference Grids is Easy With the ERITECH® Brand of SRG ConnectorThe SRG Connector, part of the ERITECH® line from ERICO®, allows for fast, simple and economical field construction of wire signal reference grids used in computer room grounding.
The Signal Reference Grid (SRG) is a pre-fabricated, low-impedance network of conductors established to create an equipotential plane for high-frequency, low-voltage digital signals. It is used in applications such as intensive computer, telemetry and telecommunications installations.
The SRG Connector, part of the ERITECH® line from ERICO®, allows for fast, simple and economical field construction of wire signal reference grids used in computer room grounding. In addition to cross-wire connections, each connector accommodates a pigtail that can be used to connect the grid to pedestals, building steel and equipment. A raised-floor pedestal-mounting bracket is also available to simplify retrofit installations.
The connector will accommodate any combination of #4 or #6 AWG solid or stranded conductors, making it suitable for the majority of SRG applications. The product features a heavy-duty bronze clamp with stainless steel hardware and a single bolt design to permit fast and easy installation. In addition, it is UL® Listed for direct burial in earth or concrete, allowing it to be used for below-grade equipotential mat and mesh construction and other direct burial applications.
